An FA Youth Cup winner whilst in the Leeds United youth set-up, Alex is a strong and confident left sided defender whose physical presence and fiercely competitive attitude make him a big weapon in Derek’s defensive arsenal. Able to play at left back or as a centre back, Alex can also lay claim to the title of most qualified player in the squad, having gained an Honours Degree in Chartered Surveying from Glasgow Caledonian University before embarking on his professional football career.
