An FA Youth Cup winner whilst in the Leeds United youth set-up, Alex is a strong and confident left sided defender who joins County for only his second season in the professional game. One of the outstanding players in Stranraer’s single season in the first division, the 24 year old has already shown his value by playing at left back, left centre back and centre half in the first months of the season. He can also lay claim to the title of most qualified player in the squad, having gained an Honours Degree in Chartered Surveying from Glasgow Caledonian University before embarking on his professional football career.
