Having made his debut for Rangers at just 18, Andy went on to play for Partick (featuring in the side that lost out to County in the Quarter Final of the Bells cup in 2004) before joining up with Alex Keddie at Stranraer for the 2005-06 season. This experience of playing with Alex should bring a strong understanding to the back line and, as with Craig Samson, Andy brings experience beyond his years having won 12 Scotland Under-21 caps in addition to his experience at club level. Andy’s performances have made him one of the first names on the team sheet, and having played alongside Scotland International Lee Wilkie during the latter’s month long loan spell at Victoria Park Andy will hope to gain from the experience.
