The Lifeskills Through Sport project is in it’s 5th year of operation and is an integral part of Ross County Football Club. It’s aim is primarily to help those who are on the fringes of education, work, training or their community, regain the confidence and self esteem needed to get them refocused and ready to take the next step.
The Projects › Get a Goal (Over 18)
› Get a Goal (Under 18)
› Parents on the Ball

It does this through a number of programmes that are run in and around the club. All of our programmes include a combination of physical activity and classroom sessions, some also include a work placement. All programmes aim to help the student develop and work on their own personal action plan. We undertake a wide range of physical activities including Badminton, Taekwon Do, Pottery and Football. Classroom sessions are tailored to meet the groups’ needs and can include employability skills, motivation and confidence sessions and guest speakers.

The philosophy behind all of our programmes is that if you feel good, physically about yourself, then you are more likely to feel mentally good about other things such as your prospects, other people and your skills and abilities.
