Finalists’ fans given chance to win the Active Nation Scottish Cup
Lucky Ross County and Dundee United fans will get the chance to lift the Active Nation Scottish Cup before their teams battle it out in the most anticipated final in the Scottish football calendar.
With cup-crazy fans kicking off their own preparations to get match-fit ahead of the final, one lucky fan from each club will win the cup for a day to reward their efforts for working more physical activity into their daily routine.
This year’s Scottish Cup is being supported by Active Nation which aims to get Scots moving ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games and beyond. As part of A Games Legacy for Scotland, Active Nation encourages Scots to increase their physical activity and set a Personal Activity Goal to get more active.
Physical activity guidelines recommend adults do at least half an hour of moderate exercise at least five days a week to be fit for health.
Fans who have already started their physical activity journey can win the sought-after cup for a day, just by revealing how they are getting match-fit.
Everything from playing football, walking to the games instead of driving or running around the park with the kids could see fans getting their hands on the silverware before their beloved team.
At the semi-final clashes at Hampden last weekend, more than 250 fans committed to making small, achievable changes to their lifestyle ahead of the final and beyond.
Join them and tell us how you are getting match-fit for the cup final by logging on to www.scottishfa.co.uk/winthecup and you could win the cup for a day. All entries must be received by Wednesday 28 April. |
