Whilst Daniel Macleod may not be a name most County fans are familiar with yet, it is certainly one that they should be looking out for in years to come. Not only is Daniel (who hails from Beauly) becoming a key member of the Under 19 team as they compete to retain the SFL Under 19 League title, but his consistently strong performances on the left side of midfield have been rewarded with a call up to the Scotland Under-17 squad for their trip to Germany this week. The team face their hosts on Friday and again on Sunday so Daniel will hope to get a run-out against one of the strongest nations in European football - gaining experience at the highest level which will help his development as a player.

With Alex Cooper having moved to Liverpool in the transfer window, it is great news for the Club to have another player receive international recognition and another feather in the cap of the Club's youth set-up.
