Mother Nature Wins - RCFC V QOS Postponed

Despite a valiant effort, the match against Queen of the South due to be played on Saturday the 16th of January has been postponed. With Queens due to travel on Friday the 15th, a pitch inspection was held and with snow still covering a third of the pitch and the exposed areas left hard by overnight frost the referee had no option but to postpone the game.

The ground staff and team continue to work clearing the snow in order to give the two fixtures scheduled for next week, against Inverurie Locos on Monday (the 18th) and Ayr United on Saturday (the 23rd), every chance of going ahead.

The Club would like to thank everyone for their efforts so far - no one could have asked for more as everyone from fans to the manager himself have pitched in with shovels and barrows. The effort continues as we look to Monday's Cup tie and so anyone who is able to come down and help on either Friday the 15th or Saturday the 16th can call the office on 01349 860860 for more details.
