New Look County Still Under Wraps

Despite several new signings already being confirmed, one change for the first team is being kept a closely guarded secret. With the Club now entering the second year of it's deals with both Adidas and Highnet as kit suppliers and sponsors respectively, we can exclusively reveal the there will be a new Home kit for season 2009/2010.

Whilst over the previous few seasons changes to suppliers and sponsors have meant that we have been forced to bring out two new kits a season, we are now in a position to implement our preferred strategy of changing one kit a season - and when asked which strip they wanted to carry forward there was no hesitation from the Football Department. Having picked up some impressive results on the road in Season 2008/2009 (including securing all important bragging rights over Caley Thistle pre-season), the red away strip will be carried forward for another season.

Whilst the new home strip will, of course, be the traditional navy blue there are a few differences to the overall look. Shop Manager Grant Wallace explained, "Working with Football First we've been given access to Adidas' new range and when we went over the options with Derek the choice of design was unanimous. It's a modern look quite different to the previous design, and combined with a couple of tweaks which the football department have made it is going to look fantastic on the park - and with it being Adidas we know it will be manufactured to the very highest standard."

Confirmation of what the 'tweaks' are will only come with the official launch in July, the date of which is yet to be announced, but prices have been confirmed. The red kit will be held at the same level as last season, whilst prices for the new home kit will be as follows:

Shirt (short-sleeve) - Adult £38, Youth £28
Shirt (long-sleeve) - Adult £40, Youth £30
Shorts - Adult £12, Youth £10
Socks - Adult £8, Youth £6
