Influential midfielder Paul Lawson has agreed a contract extension which will keep him at Victoria Park until the end of the 2011/2012 season. The 25 year old, a product of the Celtic youth system, has been a key member of the team having played in 16 of the 17 league games this season. Along the way Paul has scored 3 goals in all competitions including a stunning 25 yard volley against Dunfermline Athletic which must already be a contender for goal of the season.

Manager Derek Adams is pleased that Paul has put pen to paper on the deal, "Paul is an exceptionally talented footballer who can dictate the tempo of a game from midfield, and having had a great first half of the season I'm delighted that he has chosen to commit his future to Ross County."
