This year signals the 10th anniversary of the Inverness Ross County Independent Supporters Club whose members have loyally followed their team for the last decade. With this anniversary being important to members a new website has been produced which follows the club from its inception when only five members attended the inaugural meeting to the present day and details the club’s history in detail.
Founding member, Honary Life Member and current Chairman Stewart Maclennan said “The club had humble beginnings but has kept up a strong membership ever since and we always welcome new members and fans to the club. The members are very loyal attending all County home games by bus and an assortment of away games. We’ve had some great laughs down the years including the time members dressed as Elvis to celebrate the teams promotion, through our annual Player of the Year Buffet Dance’s which is well supported by members and the County players and through the highs and lows on the pitch. We’ve made many friends with away supporters down the years too with Clyde, Partick Thistle, St Johnstone fans and many more travelling through to games with us. The website also details former office bearers, fundraising methods, bus travel times, membership and allows those viewing the site to send their queries or membership applications straight to our committee members. It’s an interesting read detailing our history and that of the football club in the last decade” said Stewart.
