Taste Test Triumph For Tain!

Taste Test Triumph for TainAt the league match against Queen's Park on Saturday 27th October, G & M Whyte (who run the matchday tea bars on the Club's behalf) staged a tasting session where fans were given their say in which mince pies should be available on matchdays. In the interests of fairness no-one was told which pie was from which bakery, but there was an overwhelming winner with the vast majority of fans who were quizzed favouring the pie from the Scotch Pie Company who are based in Tain. Comments varied but the pastry, appearance, flavour and consistency all received praise making the decision a very simple one.

Therefore we are delighted to say that, starting with the game against Whitehill Welfare, all mince pies sold from tea bars at Victoria Park will be from the Scotch Pie Company. Our thanks to the fans who gave their time and feedback to ensure that the decision made was the right one
