Having already cheered their side into next month’s Active Nation Scottish Cup Final, supporters are being given another chance to have their voices heard. Popular Highland band Torridon have been given permission to re-write The Proclaimers hit "I'm on My Way" and they are calling on Ross County supporters to lend their vocal support to the potential chart topper!
On Tueday 27th April at 7.30pm the Ironworks in Inverness will open it's doors to a free gig, where the song "We're on Our Way" (renamed for the occasion) will be recorded live. All Staggies are encouraged to turn up sporting County shirts, scarve and flags, ready to sing the roof off the place, just as they did two weeks ago at Hampden.
The plan is to have the song released exclusively on iTunes on the 10th May, with any proceeds from the single going to Highland Disability Sport.
Further details will be available on The Ironworks website in due course, www.ironworksvenue.com |
