Steven started his career at Chelsea and made his debut against Scunthorpe United in the FA Cup. Despite standing at 6’03”, Steven uses his ability to read the game and anticipate play as often as he falls back on his imposing physical presence to mop up any danger. Over the course of season 2008-09 he built an impressive partnership with Scott Boyd at the heart of defence which everyone will be hoping continues into 2009-10.
