Little Dribblers

Our 'Little Dribblers' project is designed to give pre-school children the opportunity to participate in physical activity through football. Currently throughout the Highlands and Islands, Ross County Community Programme caters for primary schools, high schools and further education establishments but this pre-school project helps us deliver to an age group that very rarely receives organised sporting/physical activity.

All nurseries will receive four coaching sessions, one per week over a consecutive four-week period. A variety of activities have been carefully planned to encourage basic motor skills, as well as emotional, personal, social and cognitive development, whilst introducing the basic fundamental skills of football. Week four will include a graduation ceremony where parents will be invited and each child will be presented with a certificate.
