Admission Prices Reduced For Cowdenbeath game

RCFCvCowdenWith Jonathan Flynn's last minute winner against Falkirk having virtually guaranteed that the Staggies will be playing First Division Football next year, Ross County are still looking to ensure that as many fans as possible can enjoy the last game of the Season against Cowdenbeath this Saturday (the 7th of May).

All prices have been reduced to £10 for adults, £5 for concessions (OAPs/Students) and just £1 for under 16s for all areas of the ground. The Club are keen to ensure a fitting end to a season which included a second Alba Challenge Cup final victory as well as the SPL scalp of St Mirren.

Head of Administration Ranald Gilbert explained, "We've had great support from our fans this season which is a huge benefit to the team. Of course we'll be looking to thank our Season Ticket Holders in due course but we felt this game afforded us the opportunity to thank those people who've paid their way in to matches over the season - whether at Victoria Park or for our away fixtures. The last two away matches against Queen of the South at Stirling and Falkirk on Saturday have been hugely important from the Club and there was a loyal band of Staggies in attendance on both days which helped the team in two tricky fixtures. The increase in kids attending over the past three or four years has been a great boost to the Club so hopefully with kids getting in for just a quid this will continue on Saturday and help us round off season 2010/11 with a victory and take some momentum forward into the close season and indeed the next campaign.

The Blue Brazil need to beat the Staggies by 11 clear goals to overtake them and send the Dingwall side into play-offs, a margin of victory which no team has achieved against County in their history. Undoubtedly though Jimmy Nicholl's side will be looking for a morale boosting victory, and they have proved themselves to be tough opponents throughout the year and more than capable of cutting it at First Division level.

Tickets are available now in person at the Stadium or by telephoning 01349 860860 during normal office hours. They can also be purchased online at via the online shop section of the site.
