After a superb team performance earned the Staggies a draw at
Tannadice in their Scottish Cup Fourth Round tie against Dundee
United, the Arabs will make the journey North for the third time in
18 months with the replay scheduled for Tuesday the 18th of January
now being the fifth meeting in total in that time.
County, featuring new signing Jason Marr in defence, once again
proved themselves equal to their SPL opponents and during a spell
of pressure early in the second half Andrew Barrowman had the ball
in the back of the net following a corner - however the referee
ruled the goal out for a foul in the penalty area as the ball came
in.
With the teams deadlocked after 90 minutes County will now look to
make the most of home advantage in the replay, with ticket prices
and arrangements expected to be confirmed shortly.
After more than a month without football, Staggies fans can now
look forward to two matches in four days with high flying Raith
Rovers the visitors to Victoria Park on league business this
Saturday.
There are a limited number of hospitality opportunities available
at both games for fans looking to add something special to their
day at the football, for more information call 01349 860860 and
