Manager Willie
McStay today (7th January) made his first signing
since joining the Club, bolstering the defensive ranks by taking in
Celtic centre-half Jason Marr on loan until the end of the season.
Marr a product of the Youth Academy at Celtic had just returned to
his parent Club after a successful loan spell at Falkirk where he
made seventeen appearances. The twenty-one year old is
available for selection for tomorrow's Scottish Cup tie against
Dundee Utd.
McStay has also added to his
backroom staff by appointing Stuart Balmer as his assistant. Balmer
enjoyed a successful playing career predominantly South of the
border making over three hundred appearances for Charlton
and Wigan. More recently he has held coaching positions at both
Hamilton and St Mirren.
