Ross County have beaten off competition from several rival teams to capture the signature of Colin McMenamin.

The 30 year old striker netted 12 league goals last season, having started the campaign at Dundee before moving to his hometown club Queen of the South when the Dens Park club went into administration in October.

He will add a new dimension to the County forward line, joining Steven Craig, Garry Wood and Michael Gardyne who are already under contract for 2011/12
