Draw Against Dundee Takes League Run To 14

Colin McMenamin's 82nd minute strike secured a 1-1 draw for the Staggies at home to Dundee, and took the undefeated run in the league to 14 games stretching all the way back to mid August.

Steven Milne had opened the scoring for Dundee in the 35th minute, but just two minutes later another County old boy Stephen O'Donnell was shown a straight red card for his tackle on Iain Vigurs. Understandably after this Dundee set about defending their lead by packing bodies into defence.

County dominated the second half but just when it was looking as if the goal would never come, the in form McMenamin was set up by Iain Vigurs to score his fifth goal in three games and secure a point for the home side. It could easily have been all three but for Dundee keeper Rab Douglas who denied Scott Boyd with a fantastic save.

The draw is enough to keep County six points clear of next opponents Falkirk who sit second in the table. There is a Supporters bus running to the Boxing Day fixture at the Falkirk Stadium and any fans wanting to book seats can do so by calling the Club on 01349 860860.
