Despite falling behind to a 25th minute penalty, goals from Colin McMenamin and Rocco Quinn were enough to secure a 2-1 victory for the Staggies at Dens Park, making it three wins in a row and extending the unbeaten run in the league to 7 games in total.

With Morton losing to Hamilton, the three points moved Ross County to the top of the Irn-Bru SFL First Division table after exactly one quarter of the campaign, a point clear of the Accies.

However with Hamilton travelling to Victoria Park on Saturday, there's no time for celebration as County prepare for what is now a top of the table clash against Billy Reid's side - the bookmakers' favourites for the title.
