Point At Raith Maintains Advantage At The Top

Ross County's 1-1 draw away to Raith Rovers was enough to maintain their 5 point lead at the top of the table, although it was only Jamie Walker's 89th minute equaliser for the home side which denied the Staggies from extending their advantage over the other sides after Steven Craig got his name back on the score sheet and gave the visitors the lead.

Whilst attention now naturally turns to Tuesday night's Scottish Cup replay against St Mirren at Victoria Park, it should not go unremarked that the match at Kirkcaldy extended Ross County's undefeated League run to 18 games - half the season.

This statisitic is a real credit to the Manager and Players and reflects the hard and unstinting work they have been doing not only on the pitch but also on the training field week in, week out since pre-season training started way back in June 2011.
