Ross County picked up their first league win under
Jimmy Calderwood as a late goal from Andrew Barrowman secured all
three points against high flying Falkirk.
County started brightly and in the 24th minute Richard Brittain
gave the Staggies a deserved lead with a stunning
25-yard free-kick brought about by a foul on Gardyne.
Falkirk pulled level on 37 minutes through a piece of good
fortune; Mark Stewart's charge down of a clearance on the
edge of the penalty box somehow finding the back of the net.
County continued to dominate with McGovern's goal rarely
threatened, but as the clock ticked down it looked like the
Staggies would once again have to settle for a point until,
with three minutes remaining, Barrowman slotted home a Michael
Gardyne cross to secure all three points.
