Season Ticket Sales Soar

Ross County fans have been making their views on the Club's summer signings clear - by snapping up Season Tickets in record numbers!

The return of Derek Adams as Manager was followed by a string of high profile signings including Grant Munro, Russell Duncan, Colin McMenamin and Rocco Quinn and County fans are clearly looking forward to seeing the team take to the pitch in anger.

The Club's Head of Administration, Ranald Gilbert commented "We've seen sales up by over 10% on the figure at the same time last year - and up until now that had been the all time record for the Club. I think the return of Derek and the signings show the ambition of the board and the Club, and also promise more of the exciting attractive football which Derek had the team playing previously. Of course Season Tickets offer great value for money with Under 16's starting at just £20, and when prices everywhere are rising it is a good news story that we have been able to freeze ours at last year's levels."

Derek Adams commented, "I'm delighted that the fans seem to be excited about the season in prospect. We've got an excellent group of players at the club and we're working hard as a team to ensure we are ready for the challenges ahead, but having a large crowd supporting you from the stands can make a real difference to a team so it's great to see that the fans are also getting ready!"

The Club have already shown their appreciation of the support their Season Ticket Holders are giving them, as in addition to saving more than 25% when compared to buying tickets for all 18 home games they have rewarded fans purchasing their Season ticket early with a free ticket to the first home cup game - the Ramsden's Cup match against Elgin City on the 23rd of July. With no home friendly matches this will be the first time that the new look County team take to the field in Dingwall.

There were also 8 lucky winners drawn at random to receive bonus prizes: Logan Allison, John Duff and Craig Lewis will each receive tickets for all the home cup games this season free of charge while Sharon Smith and Gary Hunter won hospitality for two at a home game of their choice. John MacLeod is the lucky recipient of a signed Alba Cup Final shirt, David Ross picks up a signed copy of Highland League to Hampden and finally Fergie Ross wins a Matchday Mascot experience.

Season Tickets are on sale from the Club during normal office hours either in person or by telephoning 01349 860860. They can also be purchased 24 hours a day online at www.rosscountyfootballclub.co.uk.
