On the news Co-Managers, Stuart Kettlewell and Steven Ferguson said:

“Firstly, we think this news continues to show our commitment to developing young talent here in the Highlands. We have had a lot of challenging decisions in recent weeks but today we are delighted to bring this piece of news to our fans.”

“We have high hopes for all of our youth players and we know how hard they have worked and the commitment from our coaches to developing them, in specific Richie Brittain, Don Cowie and Liam Fontaine. All of the players we who have signed new deals have at one point or another trained with the first team during the past year or had exposure to first team training and understand the dedication it requires but we believe we have a strong pathway for them to continue to develop and get to that next level.”

“Josh Reid has really been pushing the boundaries for a while, we were in a position where we had him playing Under 18’s on a Friday, coming along with the first team on a Saturday and then playing Reserves on a Monday, his attitude and application has been first class and we really look forward to seeing him rise to this challenge over the coming period. Josh Black, Ben and Matthew have had brilliant seasons and again have been really expressive on their desire to get to the next level and we have seen a lot of these guys and know that if we can find the formula to keep them on the path they are on we will all see the rewards.”

“Having the four Under 18’s signing new deals is also pivotal. The four guys have been played at Reserve Team as well as Under 18 level so we have been pushing them to see if they can deliver and they have certainly done so, but again the hard work begins now to try and take them up another gear. We are delighted to offer Logan his first deal, again a player that has impressed us not just on the field but with his attitude and application off the field. We feel that we have a great group of talented youngsters who have now committed their future to this club and we will work tirelessly with them to try and take them as far as we can.”
