Saturday 4th April saw the Virtual Grand National take place, which has had greater significance for our Co-Manager Stuart Kettlewell and partner Katie Fuller.
Stuart & Katie saw this as a great way to raise essential funds for Dingwall Medical Group, who continue to support the local community during these worrying times. By rallying club staff, friends and families to participate in a Virtual Grand National Sweepstake, £200 was raised in support of the Dingwall Medical Group who are facing the harsh reality of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Earlier this week it was confirmed that the £200 donation received from Stuart and Katie, had been used to purchase the groups ‘oxygen monitoring equipment’ for the District Nursing team. This equipment now allows the team to assess patients for Covid-19 from their own home and pass the results straight back to the practice. This allows for no follow up visit to be made and that the correct treatments can be communicated to patients more efficiently from the initial visit.
This photo was sent in to us from Dingwall Medical Group displaying the new equipment which will help in the face of the virus right here in the Highlands.
Well done and congratulations to Stuart and Katie for their great work.
