The Scottish Government and the Joint Response Group has confirmed that the Global Energy Stadium will be a test venue for supporters this weekend. The Ross County v Celtic match at 3.00pm on Saturday 12th September, will see 300 fans granted access under the strict guidance and criteria set out by the Scottish Government.
This is a ‘test’ event and not the beginning of our ‘Return to Supporters Plan’ and thus comes with much wider focus and direction from the Scottish Government and the governing bodies. This will include direction on access & egress to and from the stadium, seating allocation, protocols for the period of time spent within the stadium and more.
As this is wholly a one-off test event, the club have decided to grant access to season ticket holders who are also Staggies Army members, and this will be carried out by ballot as we have over 300 Staggies Army members who hold a season ticket. We will, in due course, be in touch with those who will have access to the match with additional information- each supporter will be contacted by telephone/email and will have to acknowledge receipt of contact and confirm attendance. Please note if you are selected, that your access is non-transferable and shouldn’t be given to anybody else other than yourself- and if you are unable to attend you should inform the club as soon as possible, this is to protect the safety of all supporters and staff and to ensure a very strict track & trace system is followed. It is important that we stress this is a ‘one-off’ test event and not a regular return of supporters to the Global Energy Stadium at this time.
