Loan Watch Brora notch seven again

James Wallace hit the back of the net for Brora Rangers as they stormed to another big win against Turriff United on Saturday. The Cattachs hammered the Aberdeen-shire side 7-0 with Wallace getting the third goal as Tom Kelly also started for the Sutherland side.

Ross Munro came out on top over Joel MacBeath in the battle of the loanee’s as Montrose lost out to Raith Rovers. The Fife side notched just one goal as Munro kept a clean sheet and took all 3 points back to Kirkcaldy.

Declan McManus was on the scoresheet for Falkirk as they were 3-0 victors over Stranraer. The Bairns, who are still under the control of interim duo McCracken & Miller, followed up last weeks Scottish Cup Victory with a win that lifts them in to third.

Declan Hughes played his part as his Forres Mechanics side claimed another Highland League point. The Can Cans held Rothes to a 1-1 draw at Mosset Park that now takes Forres in to 6th position and two points off Rothes in fifth.

Gregor MacDonald & Jack Grant were on the wrong end of a 3-1 defeat for their Keith side on Saturday. It started well for the Maroons when they took a 1-0 lead over Clachnacuddin but failed to capitalise and the visitors took the 3 points back to Inverness.

Jack Murray’s Buckie Thistle saw their match with Strathspey Thistle postponed due to a frozen pitch.
