Tom Kelly notched his first goal for loan club Brora Rangers as the hammered title rivals Buckie Thistle 7-0 at Dudgeon Park. James Wallace also featured in the match coming off the bench in the second half, whilst their reserve team-mate, Jack Murray made a return from injury for the Moray side. The result now places the Cattachs at the top of the Highland League
Declan Hughes notched two goals inside the opening few minutes for his loan club Forres Mechanics. Following Hughes’ two early strikes the Can Cans went on to romp past Huntly 6-1 at Mosset Park.
Gregor MacDonald & Jack Grant played their part as their Keith side played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at home to Wick Academy. Leading 2-0 with 6 minutes to play, Keith conceded an 84th minute penalty and late strike from Wick’s Jack Henry which would see the Maroons take only a point from the match.
Declan McManus’ 71st minute goal was not enough to prevent Falkirk slipping to a home defeat. After levelling the game with just under 20 minutes to play Airdrie scored deep in to stoppage time to inflict defeat on Falkirk and send them down to 4th position in the league.
Joel MacBeath came off the bench to help his side Montrose to a sixth successive win in League One and push them right up to 5th, just outside the play-off places. MacBeath has now been involved in all 6 wins for Montrose this term.
Ross Munro returned to competitive action for Raith Rovers as they climbed back to the top of League One on goal difference from East Fife. Beating Stranraer 3-1, the home side have now only lost 3 of their 13 league matches this campaign.
