LOAN WATCH Scottish Cup fever hits…

Scottish Cup action was the call of the weekend for our loan stars. With only 5 of our 9 players featuring here is the low down on this weekends action.

Declan McManus was on the scoresheet for Falkirk as they made it through to the next round. Declan & his Falkirk side overcame Linlithgow Rose 4-1 on Friday night to see the Bairns, under the stewardship of interim co-managers, David McCracken & Lee Miller, through to the 4th round. They will now travel to the winners of the replay between Auchinleck Talbot & Arbroath.

Tom Kelly & James Wallace played their part in what was close to result of the round. Tom started and James came on as a second half substitute as their Brora Rangers team managed a 1-1 draw at Cappielow against Morton. The game will be replayed with the winner facing an away trip to Premiership side St Johnstone.

Ross Munro kept a clean sheet as Raith Rovers made it through to Round 4. Ross and his Raith Rovers team mates edged out Peterhead 1-0 to set up an away tie to Livingston in the 4th Round.

Joel MacBeath watched from the bench as his Montrose teammates went down 2-1 away to Bonnyrigg Rose. After managing to level the game at 1-1, Montrose could get ahead, and the hosts managed to notch themselves in to Round 4.
