Loan Watch Showdown clashes for Loan Watch Stars

Declan McManus & Ross Munro faced off in a vital match in League One for their respective clubs Falkirk and Raith Rovers. Raith had taken a first half lead but Munro was unable to keep a clean sheet as McManus netted just before the hour to level a match that saw 3 red cards dished out. The result sees Raith sit top of the League One table with Falkirk dropping to 4th.

Joel MacBeath had to watch from the bench as his loan side recorded an impressive victory. MacBeath’s Montrose side hammered Clyde 4-0 to keep them in 5th place and made it back to back wins for Stewart Petrie’s side.

James Wallace & Tom Kelly overcame Declan Hughes in another loan watch clash at Dudgeon Park. Jordan MacRae’s late goal helped Kelly & Wallace’s Brora team to the 3 points in a match that saw Brora reduced to 10 men. That result keeps Brora at the top of the Highland League tree, while Forres remain in 6th.

Due to weather conditions the Buckie Thistle v Keith match was postponed for Jack Murray, Jack Grant and Gregor MacDonald.
