It has been a challenging start to the campaign for Paul Heckingbottom and his Hibernian side. On many occasions they have been in winning positions but have been clawed back, their ability to score is definitely not in doubt with Mallan, Allan and Kamberi all proven scorers at this level.

Top Scorer | Stephen Mallan (2)
The midfielder with the magic touch at Hibs. Allan, an intelligent midfielder, has the capability to see great passes and openings between lines and defences and can cut teams apart with his fast, clever, attacking play.
As well as being a vital component of the Hibernian midfield, Mallan also has a deadly strike from range. With the confidence and ability to do so, don’t be surprised to see Mallan strike from 30-35 yards out as well as take the majority of set plays heading for target.
The young defender is earning a great name for himself with good performances for both club and country. Porteous has shown some great steel & determination in his early season showings at the centre of the Hibs defense as well as at Under 21 level with Scotland.
The Staggies travelled to Easter Road on 19th August 2018 in the second round of the Betfred League Cup. After twice taking the lead through Michael Gardyne and Josh Mullin Hibernian came back to win 3-2 in stoppage time at the end of the match.
