Following todays result we spoke to Co-Manager Steven Ferguson to get his thoughts on the match.

After Curtis Main put the Don's ahead, a goal late in each half from Billy Mckay secured the 3 points for the Staggies.

“We are not getting carried away, it’s one result but that being said it’s a great result."

Ferguson was also happy at the way the Staggies attacked the match a Pittodrie, a difficult away venue in the Scottish Premiership.

"We are delighted with both the goals and the manner in which we felt we managed parts of the game at what is one of the hardest away venues in the league.”

With 5 goals in 4 games taking his total to 11 for the season along with six assists, Billy Mckay was a hot talking point for our Co-Manager.

“Billy has just shown what he has done during his time here(in recent matches). He scored 20 goals for us last season before having receiving a horrific injury. He’s come back this year and now he has 5 goals in 4 games which any striker in the league would want to have.”
