Ash joined the Staggies on loan from Charlton Athletic in advance of the 2021/22 season. He made his debut for his parent club on 13 November 2018 against Swansea City U21s in the EFL Trophy before enjoying loan spells with English non-league sides Chelmsford City, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Dulwich Hamlet and Dover Athletic. Ash was also part of Australia's Tokyo 2020 Olympic Football Squad.
