Scott Thomson
Former Raith Rovers, Dundee United, Forfar Athletic, Hull City, Motherwell, Airdrie, Dunfermline Athletic and Brechin City goalkeeper, Scott Thomson, enjoyed a fruitful playing career between the sticks and famously saved the decisive Celtic penalty kick that saw his Raith Rovers team lift the League Cup.
Thomson joined Ross County as goalkeeping coach in 2014, brought in by Jim McIntyre as part of an overhaul of the club’s coaching staff. Prior to joining County, Thomson had worked on the coaching staff at Dunfermline, Dundee United and Hibernian. As well as looking after the first team goalkeepers, Thomson takes a keen interest in developing the club’s young ‘keepers.
