Historic Win Puts County On Cloud 9

An emphatic 9 - 0 victory over Second Division high flyers Stirling Albion has earned Ross County a place in the Active Nation Scottish Cup Quarter finals, the first time the Club has reached this stage of the competition in its history.

A Garry Wood hat trick, a brace from Michael Gardyne and goals from Alex Keddie, Richard Brittain, Scott Morrison and Stuart Kettlewell took the Staggies tally to 18 goals in the three rounds of the competition played so far this season and ensured County's place in the last 8. The draw will be mad at 13:00 this Wednesday, the 10th of February, and will be shown live on Sky Sports News.

Meanwhile Derek and the team will be putting thoughts of the Cup out of their minds as they prepare for Saturday's home League match against Dunfermline Athletic. So far the two sides have been inseparable this Season with both previous matches finishing level after thoroughly entertaining games, but with both teams looking to ensure they are in the mix at the top of the table come the end of the Season there's no doubt both will be looking for all 3 points this time round.

Monthly Awards Double for County

Ross County's Paul Lawson and Derek AdamsIn recognition of an excellent January where the team won all three games played including a victory over top of the table Dundee, both the Irn Bru Player of the Month and Manager of the Month awards have gone to Ross County. Paul Lawson picked up player of the month whilst Manager Derek Adams insisted it was the team who deserved the award he received, "I'm delighted for Paul that his excellent form has been recognised with the Player of the Month award but I think it's the team as a whole who deserve the recognition. We've a fantastic group with an excellent spirit in the dressing room and on the training pitch which they take with them into matches and that makes my job as a Manager that much easier and more enjoyable - most of the time anyway!".

Ross County Go 3 - 4 - 2 With Match Ticket Offer

With the business end of the season fast approaching, Ross County have announced that home fans can catch three big games at Victoria Park for the price of two.

Anyone purchasing tickets for two of the three home league matches scheduled for March (Raith Rovers on Saturday the 6th, Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday the 20th and Dundee on Saturday the 27th) will receive a ticket for the third free of charge. The offer is valid for all areas of the home support and includes Adult, Concession and Child tickets.

With two of the biggest matches of the season included in the offer in the shape of the local derby against Caley Thistle and the match against promotion favourites Dundee, as well as a tough match against Raith Rovers who have already picked up 4 wins on the road including victories at Dunfermline and Partick Thistle, fans will be able to watch a crucial stage in County’s push to finish in the top half of the table.

Manager Derek Adams sees the benefit of the offer for the Club as well as the fans, “Our home form has been a key element in the season so far, having won 14 games and drawn two in all competitions. Ask any player and they will tell you that having a crowd get behind you makes a real difference so this is our way of saying thanks for the support so far – and of course asking for more of the same!”

Tickets for all matches will be on sale from Wednesday the 03rd of February with all tickets purchased up to and including Friday the 5th of March qualifying for the 3 for 2 offer.
