Club Statement: Unacceptable Conduct

14/01/2026

Ross County Football Club continues to work with our supporters to target unacceptable conduct at home matches.

It is disappointing to note that a small group of supporters in the home end decided to discharge a pyrotechnic at Friday night’s match.

A youth was immediately detained by stewards and handed over to officers from Police Scotland.

Supporters are only too aware that pyrotechnics are not only illegal but they are also highly dangerous in confined spaces, as we saw on Friday night, and it is fortunate that nobody was injured.

We will work with Police Scotland to continue reviewing our CCTV to identify other individuals involved.

Our stewards and club staff continue to take a zero tolerance approach to unacceptable conduct, and any supporters found to be partaking in any behaviour which may affect the safety of others will be ejected, considered for a club ban and reported to Police Scotland.

A small element of young supporters has emerged in recent times, intent on causing problems outside and inside the ground.

This will not be tolerated.

The club will continue to work with all supporters to create an enjoyable match day experience and create a positive atmosphere where safety is not compromised.

Those who come intent on causing problems are not welcome.
