Connor comes to County
25/06/2020
Connor Randall has become the latest player to join Ross County for season 2020/21. Defender Randall, who was most recently playing in the top tier of Bulgarian football will be a familiar face to football fans.
Connor came through the youth ranks at Liverpool FC, making a handful of first team appearances at Anfield. During his time at Liverpool he also had loan spells at Shrewsbury Town, Rochdale and more notably Hearts. During his time in Edinburgh, Randall played a big part in Hearts 2017-18 campaign.
Right back Randall was most recently with Bulgarian top tier side Arda Kardzhali before opting to join the Staggies for the upcoming campaign. Randall has also represented England at youth level.
On the capture of Randall, manager Stuart Kettlewell said,
“We are delighted to get Connor into the club. He is a player, at only 24, that has some terrific experience behind him, and we, and I am sure our fans, will look forward to seeing what he is going to bring to us in the coming weeks and months.”
“Right now the transfer market is extremely tough, but we are still managing to showcase the club in the best possible ways and this is only demonstrated by the desire we see from players like Connor in wanting to join up with us and play a part in our plans and ambitions.”
There will be an exclusive interview with Connor on our Social Media channels this afternoon.
In other news, youngster James Graham has joined Rangers after refusing a new contract at Ross County.
