COVID-19 Update

27/08/2021

Following over 6,800 positive COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours across Scotland we would like to take this opportunity to support the JRG and Scottish Government in reminding our supporters of the ways we can stop the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.

The below guidance not only helps you but those around you and gives us all the best chance to suppress the virus.

VACCINATIONS

We continue to support the roll out of COVID-19 vaccines through the NHS, and would encourage all supporters to ensure you receive both jabs to protect yourself and others around you.

:: Attending Matches - should you experience any symptoms at all in the lead up to matches please do not attend the match and ensure you book a COVID-19 test. You can book your test online by CLICKING HERE. We would also encourage anybody that may feel symptoms outside of matchdays to ensure they are tested at a local walk-in or drive-through facility.

:: Lateral Flow Testing - Lateral Flow Tests can be obtained For Free online and posted directly to you by CLICKING HERE. We encourage all supporters to ensure that there are lateral flows kept within your household and that you complete them regularly to protect you, your household and those you have been in contact with. In relation to football, completing a Lateral Flow Test on Matchday can ensure you attend the match COVID free.

:: Mandatory Regulations - When travelling, day-to-day and on matchdays ensure that you comply with all mandatory regulations: keeping a safe distance from others, using face coverings and regularly sanitising & washing hands. These key steps help us to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading to you and others.

:: Distancing - When entering and exiting the stadium take a little extra time to ensure that you keep a safe distance from others. Although social distancing has been removed within stadiums, keeping your distancing when entering and exiting can help you come in to contact with fewer people- again reducing the chance of COVID spreading to you and others in your company.

:: Face Coverings - The use of face coverings is still one of the most effective ways to stop the spread of the virus. By wearing your face covering when entering and exiting the stadium you give yourself the best possible chance of keeping COVID free. Again, although not now mandatory, we would encourage supporters when seated in the stadium to use face coverings for your own protection.

Finally, we would like to thank all of our supporters for their compliance to ground regulations at recent matches. Any further information relating to COVID-19 can be found on the NHS24 website.
