Faye Mackay Joins as Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO)

Ross County are delighted to announce the inclusion of Faye Mackay as a second Supporter Liaison Officer at the club. Faye will work alongside our existing SLO, Kenny MacLennan, who has been SLO at Ross County since 2017, with any matchday / supporter-related activities.

Kenny said: “Our role as SLOs is very much based on matchday fan engagement/assistance and assisting the club with ideas on how to improve the matchday experience.

"Primarily our role is to meet and greet both home and visiting supporters, assisting with any issues they may have and dealing with any supporter queries, complaints, and suggestions."

On the appointment of Faye, Kenny added: “I’m delighted that Faye has been appointed.

"I’ve already had several successful meetings with Faye, and I’m excited about Faye’s enthusiasm for the role.

"Having a second SLO means we are doubling our efforts to increase fan engagement, and with the recent announcement around the creation of a Fan Advisory Board, we really feel that fan engagement is seen as a pivotal role at the club going forward."

Faye added: “It’s been a successful partnership so far with Kenny; we both engage well and have the supporters and the club’s best interests at heart.

"I am really looking forward to starting the role as volunteer Supporters Liaison Officer.

"Over the years, I have experienced the excellent work RCFC undertake in the community.

"Especially with our local schools and young people.

"This role will allow me to give a little back, and at the same time engage with my fellow Staggies.

"I will be happy to help, so please don’t hesitate to reach out."
