Lewis Jamieson Joins Ross County

Ross County Football Club are delighted to confirm the signing of forward Lewis Jamieson!
The 24-year-old joins us from Newport County for an undisclosed fee.
Lewis came through the ranks with St Mirren, where he made over 30 appearances in the Scottish Premiership.
During that time, the versatile forward enjoyed fruitful loan spells with Clyde, Inverness, Raith Rovers and Airdrie – racking up an impressive 19 goals.
The Scottish forward joined Sacramento Republic FC in the United States in January 2025, spending a year abroad. He made 25 appearances, scoring on three occasions.
After joining Newport County in January 2026, Lewis now makes the move back to Scotland to join the Staggies.
On the signing of Jamieson, Manager Stuart Kettlewell said: “Lewis is experienced at this level, and has proven he can score goals and create chances at all the teams he has played for.
“Lewis complements the squad well, and brings something different to the players we already have at the top end of the park.
“He is incredibly mobile and can get around the park, and importantly for us can play in a number of positions across the front line, as well as bringing that real goal threat.
“I’m delighted to have brought Lewis to the club, and I’m sure he is a player our supporters will enjoy watching.”
