Lewis Strapp signs

23/05/2026

Ross County Football Club are delighted to confirm the signing of defender Lewis Strapp!

The 26-year-old left-sided player will join the Staggies following the expiration of his contract with Airdrieonians.

Strapp came through the Greenock Morton youth set-up, going on to make over 150 appearances in the first team before earning himself a move abroad to Finland with SJK Akatemia.

The full-back returned to Scotland in 2025 with Airdrie – where he made 54 appearances, netting on three occasions.

On the signing, manager Stuart Kettlewell said: “I’m really pleased to welcome Lewis to the club.

“Lewis is very well-versed in Scottish football and will add stability as well as lots of energy to our side.

“He is a player we know well as a club, having faced up against him on a few occasions last season, and personally, he is someone I’ve enjoyed watching from afar in the past, so I look forward to working with him here.

“He brings a first-class attitude both on and off the pitch, and importantly has shown a real willingness to come to the football club and be part of the next chapter here.”

*Move Subject to SFA Approval.
