Mackay and Brown join Elgin on Loan

Ross County Football Club can confirm that Calum Brown and Lewis Mackay have joined Elgin City on loan, as per our cooperation agreement.
Striker Calum Brown made his debut for the Staggies at the tail end of last season and has featured for the first team in our pre-season friendlies and in the Premier Sports Cup.
Calum spent last season on loan with Strathspey Thistle in the Highland League, and made a huge impact, having an incredibly fruitful season.
Lewis Mackay, a versatile midfielder, was named the North Caledonian League Young Player of the Year last season, as he was a league champion with Invergordon.
Mackay featured heavily for Invergordon last season, and has also played a part in our Premier Sports Cup campaign and our pre-season friendlies.
Both players now make the step up to play SPFL football with Elgin in League 2, where they will look to earn valuable minutes which will contribute towards their development.
We would like to thank Elgin for their cooperation with this agreement, and we look forward to seeing how our academy talent develops at Borough Briggs.
