TEAM NEWS

Jack Baldwin will return to the squad for this one although he will miss the Aberdeen match due to the suspension. Ross Callachan made his return to competitive action against Rangers just before Christmas and will be looking to pin down more playing time over the festive period.

Ben Purrington remains the only long-term absentee for Malky Mackay. Alex Samuel is edging his way back from almost a year out with an ACL injury.

TALE OF THE TAPE

It was a keenly contested 1-1 draw in Dingwall back in October when Ross Callachan opened the scoring for County with a great effort into the top corner.

In recent times matches between the two sides have been closely fought and there is no doubt it will be the same again on Wednesday night.

THE OPPOSITION

Dundee United will take confidence from a strong draw at home to Hearts on Christmas Eve. The Tannadice side leading the match deep into stoppage time before a late penalty levelled the game.
