Match Preview - Livingston (H)

04/05/2023

On Saturday, we host Livingston in the first of our post-split cinch Premiership fixtures.

TEAM NEWS

Malky Mackay will be without long-term absentees Ben Purrington and Ross Callachan as well as Eamonn Brophy and Gwion Edwards who both miss out with muscle injuries. Mackay said in his pre-match conference - “Eamon and Gwion are ones that we are nearly at the point where I’m not sure if we will get them before the end of the season. I’m not going to say no, but I don’t think so. With Gwion and Eamonn, we are looking at it and thinking we could have done with those three experienced guys."

Meanwhile, we are boosted by the returns of Jordan Tillson and Yan Dhanda.

TALE OF THE TAPE

Saturday marks the fourth meeting of the sides this season with Livingston coming out on top in two of those matches whilst Owura Edwards' goal gave us the win at the Tony Macaroni Arena in October.

THE OPPOSITION

David Martindale's side currently sit in 7th place in the cinch Premiership, narrowly missing out on the top 6 following defeat to Dundee United. The month of April was very similar to that of Ross County with a win against St Johnstone as well as 3 leagues losses. Both sides will be looking to change their fortunes and get back to winning ways.
