RCFCTV Team Announced

12/07/2020

With 3 weeks until season 2020/21 kicks off, we can now announce our new presentation team for Ross County TV. The channel will not only see live coverage of home matches for Season ticket holders but will be accompanied by a 30 minute pre-match show to build the excitement as our matches at the Global Energy Stadium head towards kick off.

Fronting up the coverage will be Rory Hamilton, (BT Sport) and Jamie Lyall (BBC Scotland). The pair will share hosting duties on a game per game basis and we have worked very hard with the guys to ensure that we could get them on board as part of this exciting new chapter in the clubs story.

Joining Rory and Jamie will be former BT and Premier Sport pundit Stephen Craigan. Stephen has been extensively involved in TV production and presentation since hanging up the boots and we are delighted to add him to our Ross County TV team. Rory/Jamie and Stephen will be joined by some familiar faces as for each home game we will have a former Staggie joining the line up for the coverage. The show will be filmed live from our new internal studio within the Global Energy Stadium.

On the new line up of Ross County TV, Chairman Roy MacGregor said,

“As we have been putting Ross County TV together we acknowledged that we needed experience, ability and people that know how to deliver, and we feel we have that now. By bringing in a team of this calibre this will means that the delivery of RCFCTV will be smooth as we are dealing with guys who are experienced in this industry and have the skills to make the show slick on and off camera.”

“It was important to me that we gave our fans something more than just 90 minutes on RCFCTV, so by adding our own pre-match show for home games, it will be a real step up for us but also something to really look forward to for our fans. We are continuing to develop the platform with our partners Stream Digital and QTV and look forward to bringing you more news soon.”

Over 50% of season ticket holders from last campaign renewed after the opening 10 day sales period and we thank everybody for their support during this period. We remind fans you can purchase season tickets online as well as contacting or visiting the club shop during operating hours. You can also spread the cost of your season ticket by using our partner Orchard Finance, helping our fans during these unprecedented times. With the further suppression of COVID-19 in Scotland, we also hope this will allow fans back to stadia sooner rather than later and we are encouraged by conversations with the governing bodies on this.
