Ross County enter cooperation agreements

Ross County Football Club can confirm we have entered into two cooperation agreements with local, Highland and Moray area teams.
Continuing on from last season, we will further our relationship with newly promoted Highland League side Invergordon, while we also enter a new agreement with League 2 side Elgin City.
Cooperation Agreements enable players in the key ‘transition phase’ of 16-21, who are eligible to represent the Scotland national teams, to join a lower-league club and be able to move between the parent and cooperation club throughout the season to increase playing time.
On the agreements, Football Development Director, Campbell Money, said: “Last season, we saw the evidence of just how beneficial co-op loans can be with the development of Calum Brown, Andrew Macleod and Jamie Williamson who spent time with Strathspey Thistle.
“Their loans provided valuable playing minutes and experience at a good level, and all players have since returned to the club and played their part in our first team matches.
“Getting minutes in a first-team men's environment is the most important thing for our young players, and we believe these partnerships will be of great benefit.
“We would like to thank Invergordon and Elgin for their part in making these agreements happen, and most importantly, we’re looking forward to seeing the development of our academy talent on a weekly basis.”
