Ross County Fan Advisory Board Launches
17/08/2026
Ross County Football Club are pleased to support the official launch of an independent Fan Advisory Board.
The Fan Advisory Board (FAB), which will be chaired by Alasdair Macnab, will provide a partnership between the club and the supporters, allowing open communication between the two.
The board will help bridge ideas, suggestions and feedback to the club from a dedicated panel of supporters who are passionate about the Club, its future and interests both on, and more importantly, off the park.
Ross County Fan Advisory Board Chairman, Alasdair Macnab, said: “We welcome this exciting initiative by the Football Club, this being, as far as we can ascertain, only the second Fan Advisory Board to be set up in Scotland.
“It will give the Ross County fanbase a platform, independent of the Club, from which to share their views and opinions on a regular basis.
“I am proud to chair the Ross County Fan Advisory Board, which has a diverse range of business, life skills and knowledge.
“The FAB have agreed with the Club how it will operate and develop a collaborative partnership based on mutual trust, honesty and openness.
“Our key focus is ensuring our fanbase has opportunities to be heard, and the Club has opportunities to respond.
“We will carry out regular surveys of the fanbase to hear their views, opinions and ideas.
“Surveys will be sent by email from the Club, and results will be discussed with the Club in a variety of formats including reports, regular meetings with the Fan Advisory Board and open fan sessions with reports being shared with the fanbase.
“I encourage all the Ross County fanbase to make their voice heard to help move the Club forward and improve our matchday experience.”
Chairman of Ross County FC, Roy MacGregor, said: “During our review, we realise we need more open lines of communication with our supporters, who are, and always will be, the lifeblood of this Football Club.
“I’m thankful that we have a group of supporters, who feel such a strong connection to our Club, who are willing to liaise with our support and ourselves, allowing us to have ideas, opinions and opportunities shared in a controlled and constructive fashion.
“We have laid the foundations for how we see it working, and the response has been positive.
“There will be mutual openness throughout the partnership, and I think that will really bear fruit for everyone connected with Ross County FC.”
The Club look forward to working with the Fan Advisory Board.
