Ross County v Rangers | Match Information

20/08/2021

We are looking forward to Sunday's match which will be a popular return fixture for the fans. This is a big match for both clubs given their will be a capacity crowd at a time when Covid measures are easing but some guidance must remain. There is no public parking at the ground so the message is leave early get parked and give yourself plenty of time to walk to the stadium. Police and Stewards will be on duty both outside and inside the stadium which will open at 1.30pm. Listen to advice and safety messages from the police and stewards before, during and after the match.

The ticket office will be open from 11.00am to collect, we remind supporters that you can also print at home and print at home tickets for the match will be available online until kick off.

The stadium announcer will make various announcements regarding Covid measures and general safety. The wearing of face masks is not mandatory but we will encourage all supporters to continue wearing them even when seated. The wearing of face masks is mandatory when moving around within any closed building or internal part of the stadium. Tea bars will reopen but we have asked stewards to work with supporters to avoid bottlenecks where possible.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are still unable to open the Tea Bar located within the West Stand Concourse (North End) as this area is currently still included as a Red Zone. However, we are delighted that our new catering operator will have all other tea bar’s open in addition to the external catering unit.

Electronic turnstiles will be in operation with new barcoded tickets which should be presented to the electronic readers in each booth. Stewards will be available to assist should any problems arise. Have your ticket ready for inspection and present it to the barcode reader to open the turnstile. Should it fail to open step back outside and seek assistance from a steward.

I must remind all supports that the following behaviour is not acceptable within the Global Energy Stadium:

  • Racist or sectarian language or behaviour.
  • To be under the influence of alcohol.
  • To be in possession of alcohol.
  • To behave in a manner likely to cause offence, annoyance or nuisance of any kind.

Furthermore, all supporters must be aware that:

  • Banners, or other articles which could, or might be used as a weapon, or to cause annoyance or unnecessary obstruction or offence, are not permitted within the ground.
  • All persons entering the ground are admitted subject to the condition that they might be required to submit to a search to prevent prohibited articles being brought in to the ground which might be used to cause injury or damage to other persons or property.
  • Under no circumstances is it permitted to throw any objects which may cause injury or offence whether on to the pitch or track or otherwise.
  • Under no circumstances should any supporter enter the field of play including trackside.

Football traffic will not have access to Ferry Road, Dingwall (railway bridge) from 14:45pm, where the priority will be for pedestrians and local traffic.

Finally, everyone at the club is excited about welcoming supporters back in numbers and we must all work together to make sure it is both enjoyable and safe.
