Ross Munro agrees New Deal

08/03/2022

Ross Munro is the latest player to commit his future to the Global Energy Stadium by signing a new one-year deal with County.

Munro, who was memorably our cup goalkeeper during the 2018/19 Challenge Cup success, has been an important part of the goalkeeping group at the club as well as being an esteemed graduate from our Academy.

During his career to date, Munro has also had successful loan spells with Brora Rangers and Raith Rovers as well as emergency loan spells at Cowdenbeath and Annan Athletic. This has been coupled with his development here in Dingwall that has regularly seen him as part of the first team match day squad.

On re-signing Ross, Manager Malky Mackay has said “Ross is a really impressive young man. He conducts himself brilliantly and is highly regarded amongst our coaching team here at Ross County.”

“Ross has worked with Scott Thomson our Goalkeeping Coach now for over 6 years and is continuing to develop and learn with each passing day. We now look forward to pushing his development further in the coming weeks and months.”
