Sponsorship boost for Academy

17/03/2022

Ross County Academy is delighted to announce a range of new sponsors backing our youth teams for this year’s Club Academy Scotland programme.

The club is heavily dependant on kind investment and sponsorship to support our continuing development of young players and the ability to compete in a national games programme. With the support of our new sponsors, we are able to drive forward with our plans and continue to build on the solid foundations that have been set in the academy over the last two decades.

Firstly, we would like to give a thank you to Travis Perkins and Branch Manager Calum Mackay, a former youth coach with County, for kindly sponsoring the shorts of our Academy teams this season. Travis Perkins is part of Travis Perkins plc and is the UK’s largest supplier of building materials to the building and construction industry. Featuring a network of over 500 branches, supplying thousands of products and materials, including a hire service, to trade professionals and self-builders across the nation. With a wide range of quality timber, building materials, kitchens, plumbing and heating, landscaping, painting and decorating essentials and tools for the job.

We also thank Scott Morrison at North Motorhomes, who has kindly sponsored the back of all academy shirts for the season. Scott runs his local business from Invergordon and his son currently competes in our Under 13 team. Whether it’s completing the North Coast 500 or a trip away with the family for the weekend, Scott and his team have a host of fantastic and reliable Motorhomes ready for you.

Finally, we would like to thank Barry from Adams Engineering (Marine). Barry has sponsored the Shirt Sleeves of all academy kits this season, as well as that Barry also has his own Ross County story to tell with his son joining the Academy at 8 years old and has followed his pathway right up to our Under 18 team after continuous improvement and development in his time with the club.

We would like to thank each and every organisation for their vital support of the academy and allowing us to continue our important work in developing young talent from right here in the Highlands.
