Tremarco joins the Staggies

Carl Tremarco is the latest addition to the Ross County squad ahead of season 2020/21. The full back joins the Staggies on a one-year deal to add to Stuart Kettlewell’s defensive options.

Tremarco joins the squad as a vastly experienced player who has had spells with Tranmere Rovers, Wrexham, Darlington, Macclesfield, Floriana and Inverness Caledonian Thistle. In addition to joining the playing squad, Carl will also provide vital experience in helping to develop Academy Graduates such as Josh Reid, who has stepped up to the first team this season.

On the signing of Tremarco, Manager Stuart Kettlewell said “Carl has great experience in the game- he has played at some very good levels and everybody knows his talents.”

“As well as being a player here, Carl will be able to use his experience in helping to develop our youngsters including Josh Reid who plays in a similar position and Carl will be a wise, older head in the camp. It’s no secret we were looking to strengthen in the full back areas and we feel we have now done that and managed to bring in the right amount of quality and experience going in to the new season.”

As Tremarco joins as a free agent he joins up with Kettlewell’s squad immediately as preparations continue for the opening match of season 2020/21 on 3rd August.
